That’s our cue: We're James and Emma, college sweethearts turned life and business partners. We've been photographing weddings together since 2013, which means we’ve developed a deep chemistry and connection when it comes to helping plan and shoot your big day. We know how to play into each other’s strengths as artists, balance each other’s weaknesses, and bring out the best in you as individuals and as a couple. Our style has been described as journalistic, organic, adventurous, and authentic, and our editing style is true-to-color and timeless.

With roots in old-school film photography and a keen eye for artistic compositions, James specializes in capturing the finer details and unexpected moments that make your day truly unforgettable. While Emma leads the charge, James ensures every aspect of your wedding photography is infused with creativity and precision. His secondary but equally as important job? Making sure Emma doesn't fall off a cliff or dehydrate into dust while glued to her camera, or explode anything when she decides to bring smoke bombs for a pop of color. A wedding day MacGyver, James has saved the day on more than one occasion.

- Our anniversary is on Halloween and we plan an annual anniversary trip to a “spooky” destination like New Orleans, Salem, or Halloween Nights at Disney & Universal!
- James is a carpenter and hobbyist woodworker who loves using his hands to turn nothing into something awesome! The first thing he ever built was a spice rack for Emma...who says true love isn’t real?
- Film photography is a huge hobby of ours, and we hope to one day incorporate it into our business too. We own hundreds of different types of film cameras, including a giant 4x5 press camera and pinhole cameras we made ourselves, and we even turned our second bathroom into a home darkroom!
- On weekends we’re not working, you’ll find us hiking and tent camping or kicking back with beers, burgers, and board games.
